Washington Wealth Makes Senior Hires In Seattle, San Diego

Washington Wealth Management continues to
strengthen its network, appointing Peter Sansevero as branch director for
Seattle and Michael Ferrante as branch director for San Diego. Sansevero has 34 years of financial
services experience and has held key compliance and operations roles at Merrill
Lynch and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. At Washington he is charged with establishing
new branches in the region and recruiting more advisors to the team. Ferrante most recently served as branch
manager for Morgan Stanley's Palm Desert, California office, as well as the San
Diego office. His appointment at Washington comes alongside the company's
expansion plan in the state, with the recent addition of California-based
Cornerstone Wealth Management as a family-office partner. Cornerstone looks after around $250 million
of assets, and is part of an “extensive expansion” along the West Coast,
Washington says, as the firm seeks to strike up further family office
partnerships throughout the country. The RIA, which was launched in December
last year, is also planning to grow its business by hiring branch managers
while large broker-dealers are firing them. Washington Wealth Management is
headquartered in Middleburg, Virginia.
